Today, I spoke at the Budapest Write the Docs. I talked about what I’ve learned about documentation through posting on the WordPress.com blog and The Daily Post.
Andrew Spittle wrote a good summary of my talk here. Here are the slides:
The talk went well, but clearly I neglected to hem my pants beforehand:

How’s Budapest? Hope you’re having a great trip.
Your topic makes a lot of sense to me. My other wordpress blog http://www.cuehaven.com is an attempt to use wordpress like a more traditional web site rather than a blog, but we are using the blogging capability exactly as non-traditional documentation of our project.
Budapest is fantastic! I’ll be blogging about it when I’m back and have time. 🙂
CUE Haven looks like a really interesting project.
I look forward to hearing about it.
Thanks, the project has been very interesting. I forgot to mention that the blog part of the site is the “Whats New” section where we document all the work done by the various groups and the rest of the pages are pretty much static.
