Every morning, Edith has half a mango. I am not sure about this as a staple, as mangoes are pretty sugary, but I’m not in control of the situation — Edith’s nanny believes babies should be absolutely packed full of fruit, and I will not be arguing with her. In addition to the mango, Edith also regularly has a banana, one or two mandarin oranges, apple chunks, and a double handful of blueberries. Every morning when her nanny arrives, Edith flies down the hall and sticks her face into her purse looking for her mango.
I myself love mangoes, but I daren’t eat any of the ones we have, because I fear us running out. If Edith went a morning mango-less at this point, I don’t know what would happen.
